Here’s a report from the crew who delivered Estela to Rogoznica in March…
Crew: Keith C; Reg G; Tim C; Debs H; Stephen D.
Estela is now berthed in her new home at Frapa Marina Rogoznica. We had a jolly sail up from Dubrovnik and didn’t break a thing! Winds were a bit variable, but we got some good runs in a brisk breeze. Generally sunny, but a Spring-like nip in the air in any wind.
First night in Okuklje on Mjlet. Lovely anchorage, but still closed for the winter so no restaurants open.
Next stop Hvar on Hvar! Great place to visit, especially out of season without visitors! Pity about the swell on the harbour!
Then straight up to Rogoznica. The marina is nice, a little long in the tooth, but in good condition and well organised. It even has a Conand supermarket (not open til after Easter). Rogoznica itself is very pretty and there are plenty of places to eat. We rated the Atrium restaurant, not only good, but the nearest (see card)!
Highly recommended all round.
Many thanks to the crew for a great sail!
